Chive Blossom Omelet

Simple omelet prepared from eggs, whole milk, coarse salt, fresh ground black pepper, chives and chive blossoms.
Ingredients -
4 Large Eggs
4 tablespoons Whole Milk
Salt and Pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons minced Chives
3 tablespoons Butter
12 Chive Blossoms, gently washed and dried
 
Preparation:

1. Add butter to large skillet. Melt butter over medium high heat.

2. Add eggs, whole milk, coarse salt, fresh ground black pepper, and chives to medium bowl and whisk to combine.

3. Pour egg mixture into skillet

4. As the edges of the omelet begin to set, reduce the heat to low and turn the uncooked eggs to the bottom of the skillet using a spatula until the eggs are set.

5. Sprinkle the chive blossoms across the top of the eggs, fold the omelet over, cover partially and cook another 1-2 minutes.
